Product Description

The Coonawarra Classic Mixed Dozen is:

This Dozen will contain 2 bottles of each wine listed below.

Majella The Musician Cabernet Shiraz 2014 Majella Wines are regarded as one of the best producers of premium Australian wine! Once again, an exceptional wine at the price: vibrant, unmistakably Coonawarra to smell and taste, bursting with flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry and herbs, and fine, elegant and juicy in the mouth. This wine is quite low in oak, with just a smidge of vanillin showing faintly on the mid palate, but otherwise the brambly, blackcurrant flavours demand all the attention. Fine silky tannins integrate with the fruit and minimal oak treatment to produce an approachable well rounded wine with an extended length. Quite a complex wine! For Matthew-the musician.

Hollick Bond Road Chardonnay 2012 - the palate is racy and fine, with fresh acidity highlighting the grapefruit notes on the palate; lively and focused on the finish' - 92 Points, Huon Hooke & 91 Points, James Halliday

Di Giorgio Coonawarra Chardonnay 2011 - Lifted aromas of lemon, white stone fruit and elder flower with nuances of cinnamon and roasted nut. A complex layered palate, showing white peach and nectarine flavours with hints of spicy oak and biscuit nougat. The creamy mid palate evolves into a long and flinty mineral finish.

Di Giorgio Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 - Blackcurrant and black olives, soft, fine tannins and ample sweet fruit flavours. A persistent finish with toasty, spicy oak spilling onto the palate.

Jim Barry The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 - This wine is deep garnet in colour with high clarity. The nose is very aromatic, displaying characters of cassis, cedar, blackcurrant and hints of dried herbs. The palate is medium bodied and generous, showing fine tannins, highlighted by flavours of boysenberry, menthol and morello cherries.

Leconfield Coonawarra Chardonnay 2012 - Fine stone fruit flavours with elegant yet persistent peachy flavours that finish cleanly with a tight, but soft, acidity.
